Partner David T. Patterson focuses his practice on construction litigation and claims, architectural/engineering, product liability, professional liability, and environmental law. David served 22 years active duty/reserve in the United States Navy and retired as a Navy Captain in JAG Corps. David has been a presenter on “Legal Issues Affecting Digital Data/BIM” and “Legal Considerations of Digital Practice/BIM” for the American Institute of Architects, Ohio Valley Region Convention, and a speaker on the topic of “Sustainability” before the American Institute of Architects, Columbus Chapter. He also serves as Counsel to the American Council of Engineering Companies of Ohio and is the 2021 President of the American Board of Trial Advocates-Ohio Chapter. David is an AV Preeminent® rated attorney by Martindale Hubbell. For many years, David has been named an Ohio Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters and since 2016 has been recognized in the Best Lawyers in America® including as “Lawyer of the Year” in 2023 for Construction Law.
