Jonathan A. Good joined Weston Hurd as a Partner in May 2019. Jon’s practice focuses on employment, healthcare, business and transactional matters. He is a strategic advisor and collaborator for his clients many of whom are in the health care, manufacturing, and hospitality industries.
In employment and labor, Jon represents his clients in matters involving: Title VII, FLSA, retaliation, NLRB, EEOC/OCRC, ERISA including qualified plan compliance, plan rights and remedies, fiduciary duties, deferred compensation and top hat plan design, termination; IRS and 409A compliance; executive contracts, severance agreements, equity and stock option agreements, COVID & OSHA compliance/citation defense, workers’ compensation and related employment claims. Handbook updates and revisions including California compliant rules and policies.
Jon’s litigation experience includes multiple jury trials to verdict, appellate advocacy and oral arguments; catastrophic injury and high stake/profile matters with successful results for clients; and first chair trial attorney experience.
