Kathie Jeffers assists the firm attorneys in matters involving estate planning, guardianships, and tax. Kathie is responsible for the preparation of documents filed in Probate Court and serves as a liaison for clients regarding their estate and tax matters. Prior to rejoining Weston Hurd in 2020, Kathie was a baliff in the Criminal Division of Summit County Court of Common Pleas and worked for a wealth management advisory firm. Kathie is a former member of the Cleveland Association of Paralegals and served on the Ursuline College Legal Studies Advisory Board from 2002-2014. Kathie has been a guest speaker at paralegal workshops on estate planning and probate topics on multiple occasions.
