Partner Matthew Miller focuses his practice on commercial and business litigation, employment litigation, creditors’ rights, business transactions, and real estate matters. He has specific experience representing automobile, truck, motorcycle, and recreational vehicle dealers with respect to administrative and regulatory proceedings, consumer claims, dealer compliance programs, manufacturer disputes and commercial transactions. Matthew also represents clients in shareholder disputes, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, and trade secret actions. Matthew has been a presenter before the Ohio Automobile Dealers Association on “Navigating NIL Negotiations with Student Athletes” and the Greater Cleveland Automobile Dealers Association on topics including franchise protection standards, facility renovations, FTC used car buyer’s guide update, warranty compensation, warranty chargeback protection, succession performance standards, manufacturer/dealer litigation, and relocation protests. He has also authored “Complying with Notice Provisions of the Defend Trade Secrets Act of 2016,” an article that appeared in Focus, a publication of the Association of Corporate Counsel, Northeast Ohio Chapter. Matt was selected by the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association as a member of its 2019-2020 Leadership Academy Class.
