Matthew K. Seeley is a business, commercial, and employment attorney with 30 years of accumulated legal education and experience. His clients include Fortune 500 companies, midsized, closely-held, family, and startup entities as well as individuals and their personal/business partners. Matthew not only represents clients in transactional, regulatory, and administrative matters, he also has extensive litigation experience in corporate, commercial, employment, real estate, tax collection, and workers’ compensation disputes. Matthew has litigated cases throughout Ohio State courts, in the U.S. Northern and Southern District Courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, U.S. Tax Court, and myriad state and federal administrative agencies and municipalities. Matthew is a member of the Ohio State, Cleveland Metropolitan, and West Shore Bar associations, and in 2019 served as a delegate to the Eighth District Judicial Conference. Matthew is a regular presenter, researcher, and writer, including on novel and niche topics such as the Ohio Uniform Trade Secrets Act, the Ohio Civil Theft Act, and HR risk avoidance updates. Matthew is AV-rated and an Ohio Super Lawyer in Business/Corporate law. Matthew received his B.A. from Kenyon College and his J.D. from the University of Akron where he spent a summer studying European Union law at Magdalene College, Oxford University, England.
