William Peseski is a partner at Weston Hurd with a practice focused on commercial litigation, helping companies and businesses navigate complex civil commercial disputes, as well as insurance claims. Will further assists churches, religious affiliated institutions, and private schools/universities throughout Ohio in a full range of matters from litigation to corporate governance.

Since 2020, Will has been recognized as a Rising Star by Ohio Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business. More recently in 2024 and 2025 Will was named by Best Lawyers®: Ones to Watch in Commercial Litigation and Insurance Coverage. Will is a member of the Judge John M. Manos American Inn of Court, an organization of legal professionals from all levels and backgrounds who share a dedication for professional excellence. He is a frequent presenter and author whose recent articles have appeared in Insurance Law360 and Lexology.

Will further regularly acts as local counsel to out-of-state law firms litigating in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts in Ohio. He routinely serves as local counsel in Northeast Ohio (Cleveland, Akron, Medina, Lorain, etc) and oversees litigation throughout the state. Out-of-state firms have come to rely on the experience of Weston Hurd to appreciate, understand in practice, and better predict how Ohio judges and prospective jurors will view their case, and apply specific local rules and procedures.

Will obtained his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and his B.S. in Business cum laude from Wayne State University.

In addition to his Ohio Bar admission, Will has admission before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Within the community, Will is a long-time volunteer with Minds Matter mentoring high school students and is a Board Member with Adoption Network Cleveland.
