The Ohio-based law firm of Weston Hurd LLP is pleased to announce the addition of 13 attorneys from the Labor and Employment and Education Law practice groups at Walter Haverfield led by Christine Cossler, Eric Johnson, Christina Peer and Kathy Perrico. The attorneys in these practice groups will be working out of the firm’s Cleveland and Columbus offices. The attorneys officially join Weston Hurd on January 1, 2023.
According to Weston Hurd’s Managing Partner Dan Richards, “We are thrilled to make these extremely talented attorneys part of the Weston Hurd family. This move adds significant depth to our existing Labor and Employment group and will give us one of the largest and strongest Education Law sections in Ohio. The firm will be celebrating our 100th birthday in a few years. In preparation, we have been very focused on smart and strategic growth opportunities such as this to ensure that we will be there to serve our clients well into the firm’s second century. We moved both our Cleveland and Columbus offices into efficient updated spaces over the past two years, and we have been very fortunate to be able to add over 25 top ranked attorneys, and a number of talented and dedicated staff to fill these great new spaces since making those moves.”
Eric Johnson, speaking on behalf of the attorneys joining Weston Hurd adds, “We are very excited about moving our practices to Weston Hurd. The firm has a strong background in litigation and an excellent reputation around the state. This move will provide a better platform for us to continue to serve our growing client base.”
