Weston Hurd Welcomes Education Attorneys Klang & Zebedis

Weston Hurd is pleased to announce the addition of attorneys Hannah Markel Klang and Brad M. Zebedis to the firm. Klang joins the firm’s Education Law group as a Partner, while Zebedis joins the Education and Employment Law groups as an Associate in the Cleveland office.

Prior to joining Weston Hurd, Klang served as a successful plaintiff’s side attorney where she handled a complex Title IX matter and interfaced with school personnel on various issues involving her student clients and through her work as guardian ad litem. She began her legal career as an insurance defense attorney and during law school, she worked for the Legal Aid Society, the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, and was an extern for the Honorable Dan Polster. Klang has been named an Ohio Rising Star by Super Lawyers since 2017. Hannah earned her B.S. summa cum laude from Western Michigan University and obtained her J.D. magna cum laude from Cleveland State University College of Law.

Zebedis focuses his legal practice on education law and labor and employment. In addition to providing day-to-day counsel, he represents public sector clients before SERB, private sector employers before the NLRB, and defends charges before the EEOC. In 2024, Brad was recognized as an Ohio Rising Star by Super Lawyers. Zebedis earned his J.D. magna cum laude from The University of Akron School of Law and his B.A. summa cum laude from Presbyterian College.
